Was gifted a Mk3 Cabriolet and its a fun car but would love a bit more power. What would be the easiest engine conversion to get a bit more oomph? Was thinking the 2.0l 16v engine but these don't seem to be easy to find? Any other ideas would be welcome.

Trying to find info on the DSG service. Is it a full change or just a top up when needed? From what I can see its the DQ200 variant, which had most issue ironed out prior to this model.

I live in SA and drive a 93 golf cabriolet. I also own 3 B1 passats, 2 early cabriolets and a 71 beetle and a 74 kombi.
