Hi guys.
Two weekends ago I spent 5 hours detailing my car with the excellent products I had ordered from the awesome guys at Car Care Products. I washed, prepped and waxed and detailed the interior too.
I wondered to myself why I'd spent half my Sunday on my car. I was soon to find out...
About a week ago what seemed like a flying Brontosaurus decided to drop a bomb on the roof of my Golf. It was when I arrived home that I found out how awesome the Dodo Juice wax was. The bird poo came off like butter with a little water and left absolutely no marks on my paint.
Today, though, I noticed a yellowish splotch on my bonnet when I left work. I arrived home and did exactly the same thing as I had done with the previous poo. The rubbish itself came off, but I think It's marked my brand new paint!
Looking at the paint from an angle, the area where the poo was is more "matte" than the surrounding glossy area. I tried getting a shot of it but it's really difficult. Is my paint damaged? Or could the mark actually be on top of the wax layer?
How can one poo chew through two layers of wax and my top-coat in one day! MUTANT POO!
