I just picked up my car from the crash repairer (oh no I hear you say - but relax... no tragedies have met the silver bullet, it was just having a finishing touch applied.)
Now complete... my shiny silver bullet is now sporting (pun intended) a bootlip spoiler off of the Superb Sportline series available in Europe. Was it sourced through the ever helpful, no task is too difficult Skoda dealership? That would be a no. When I originally ordered the car I requested a price on the spoiler to be told 'thats not in our accessories brochure'. Not a problem I replied... the Skoda part number is 3V5827933-F7M I say. Let me know when you have the cost of it.
....Waiting....
.....Still waiting...
.... Delivery date approaching....
Luckily, Superskoda are fairly quick to dispatch directly from Europe. So the stealership miss out on the $700-odd dollars I was imagining it to cost painted and installed, and Superskoda pockets a substantially less 160 Euros for the trouble. Popped into my local friendly crash repairer (who I'm said to say I know extremely well these days) and voila... one Sportier Skoda in my possesion. The cost for the paint and install? 'A bottle of wine should do it for a good customer like you' I'm told.
So I present to you my (now) fully dressed Superb.
