Old version, I think. To be honest, it wasn't a big deal for me. It'll get replaced again if something goes wrong in the 4 years I'll have the car
thanks, mate... not a big deal for me either... just was wondering if I got the usual WA average service...

Would that be average Melville or average Osborne Park service?

Earlier this year I posted a thread about my experience with replaced badges. I took the car into the dealer on an unrelated matter and the service manager said he would replace the badges. I knew about the delaminating issue from the Briskoda site so I replied the rear is a bit naff but the front is fine. He insisted on changing both. When I picked up the car I went home and washed it. I discovered 2 sharp dents in the paint next to the rear badge and a nasty scratch around the chrome on the front. That unrelated matter was the replacement of a rear light housing under warranty. The new one was not fitting right and then I discovered some oaf had nearly stripped one of the torx fasteners using an allen key. Overall this debacle cost the dealer nearly $1,000 for a respray of the tail gate, new chrome trim on the bonnet and 2 more new (old style) badges.

I've replaced my badges with the current version. I reckon it's much better than the old logo. It looks fresh and modern. I'm more than happy with the results. (Wasn't easy..took some care without damaging car) Click image for larger version

Got my badges replaced under recall yesterday at Brisbane Prestige. Great service and done quickly. No hesitations in promoting their service. Well done to Adrian and the team

I think that's an improvement as well. Where did you get them from?

Did you replace the alloy wheel caps too? How about the steering wheel centre logo?

Had both of mine replaced due to peeling of the clear coat, even after being told this recall didn't apply to mine.

Seems branding and brand image is rather important.

                      Elektron,

Purchased them from Super Skoda website. Paid about $55 AU for front and rear. Took me about two hours (being very careful not to scratch or damage anything) to fit. They really look much better than the old green badge. I actually think it makes the car look fresh. The old green badges are really dated.

Funny that the dealerships still use the green logos everywhere along with a green theme

That green is the skoda brand colour. which is why they still use it

plus I bet we are last on the list of re-branding...........

I much prefer the original and traditional Skoda badge.
The new one looks like a badge on a car out of China.
