Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    installed mine yesterday - all good too.

    however, the actual download from the update portal took a lot longer for me this time round.

      Did my Tiguan off it 10 days ago Took 2 hours to d/load and 45mins in the car

      Been on the Skoda portal since late Nov but still not on the VW portal

        It's the exact same package.
        Makes no sense.

        Same thing with the previous P79 maps.

          Yes and its still not there Skoda map file is dated Nov 19th so whats wrong with VW
