Solitaire Motors Adelaide no longer to sell Skoda

Not specifically an Octavia topic but when I got back from my overseas trip there was a letter from Soitaire to say they had lost the Skoda franchise and could not service any warranty issues. Not a problem as our warranty period has expired.

I personally had no issues with sales and service I had received from them, having bought from them twice so a bit surprising especially since they currently sell VW and other group products.

Replacement dealership has not been announced but I would have thought that all the tech in new models would mean that staff training, equipment and spares would be a huge undertaking for a brand new dealership to set up.

Look to be some really good discounts on demo and stock.

Yes run-out pricing on all cars in stock. Everything must go by 31 October!!!

Apparently Jarvis at Hillcrest is an authorised Skoda dealer now

Seriously? I cringe when I accidently view the awful Jarvis TV adverts.
Far less convenient for me IF I were to get a service done there.
