Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

    2012 Octavia Rs diesel xenons

    Hi all
    Long time vw owner now 1st time Skoda owner. I purchased a skoda octavia Rs diesel 2012 model an im wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction where to buy a xenon kit for my vehicle. It has projector headlights but no xenons and coming from a golf R i find them lacking. Any help is appreciated.

    All I can say is avoid the cheap stuff on eBay. There are some reputable german shops that sell good quality conversation kits and they ship to Australia.
    You can always ask on briskoda.net I have seen many threads about Xenon HID conversion.

      The Morimoto HID kits are really good quality and work with the VW/Skoda electrical system (make sure you get the CANBUS version). They are around $250 for the kit including bulbs.
