Hi guys well been viewing this forum for awhile now and thought I would post up my ride so far.

Bought the car last year Nov 2015 from Lennock Skoda Canberra. Got lucky and got a MY16 VRS Wagon MK3, with 19" black pack, leather, canton sound, tech pack and auto tailgate for a great price and only 2 weeks wait!

This is me picking up the car...


So after a couple of months past the modding bug hit again and received the car back today like this...





Got the whole front grille incl lower and side grille strip's painted gloss black, front splitter sprayed gloss black and attached, rear spoiler sprayed gloss black, and rear under bumper sprayed gloss black. He didn't have time to finish the buffing and detail so I have to go back again in 2 weeks. (also have something else planned but you guys can find out next time)
Looks so good, even better in person.

I cant see pics either mate - but keen to have a look at the body changes. Might be getting rid of my Mk6 GTI this year and stepping into a Mk3 Octy vRS wagon (probably a silver one) as i need the extra room for the baby and all her gear.

Nice car - Was that a bumper off job to do the grill repaint?

I'm thinking of replacing my grill surround from chrome to the black version, lot of people say easy to replace but I'm wondering if need to go to effort of dropping number to get to the clips.

Another small improvement I noticed on my blue RS is using a good trim sealant for the window trims which often dull compared to the gloss black plastic trims. I used Gyeon tyre coating and it has kept the rubber looking glossy for weeks which just makes it visually pop a little more enhancing the blackpack look.

It might be abit hard to see from the angle but they already have been tinted. You cant even see into the back windshield its that dark lol. Its alot darker than the pictures make it out to be

i got mine from Lennock Skoda in canberra too
she was 'under cover' on the showroom floor.

Looks great! Race blue looks awesome on RS octavias. I love the 19" Extreme wheels also.

Hi guys, well I got my car back from the painters again... This time got my wheels painted black like the RS230 wheels... he even painted the V in the VRS black for me aswell! I also have added the gloss black rear bumper protector aswell. Car is going back to him again in 2-3 weeks (no not for more painting) to get the wheels glossed up abit more. Atm they are only semi gloss due to the paint and clear coat unable to adhere properly to the athracite surface that was originally on there. Have to wait abit for this paint to harden up so we can put high gloss black on

My gloss black number plate brackets and surrounds from LAKIN plates should arrive in the new couple of weeks. I'll then be able to mount the black and white number plates I ordered

So guys... been abit busy lately but did a thing today... I always wanted to go wider tyres but knew it wasnt possible on the current Xtreme rims. So i researched tyres / rims and came up with a combo - VMR 710 19x8.5 ET45 with Michelin PSS 245/35 tyres. Got it all put on today... with fingers crossed... IT FIT! Albeit close to the rear strut (3-4mm clearance) but the great thing is... no rubbing or scraping at all!

This setup would be better with ET40 rims but unfortunately the VMR rims dont come in that offset for PCD 5x112.

Oh and had to go the matte black Anyways pics are worth a thousand words. I will get more up tommorow after the wheel alignment is done.
