I ordered in late Aug, but had wanted a Jan build all along, they just wanted to lock in an order, I probably could have done it late Oct really as it only entered in the system then. I wasn't in a hurry, already have a Mk2 RS. Dealers would have NFI whether there would be a MY16.5, there will for sure be an MY17 starting with builds mid year. They would have only been speaking about the first few months f this year ie MY16. Last year was the first time I have seen a 6mth slight update with the MY15.5 so unlikely, but none of the dealers knew that was happening until cars started to get built Jan onwards with some extras included. If I was really fussed I could see if they can find out the codes etc for the build as they would alert to something extra on there. Highly likely MY17 will have the lane depature stuff the Scout has I reckon, or at least the option of including it. Most likely it will appear in the tech pack and push its price up a little. The comfort pack also snuck in partway through last year as well. From what I can tell from the VIN it is only saying MY16 so doubt there is an MY16.5 or it would show up there somewhere.

The only reason I speculate is that my build week which was solidly locked in was bumped from the first week in Jan to the last week, so something caused that. Could have just been availability of something I optioned.
