Traffic Info Activation

Received my OBDeleven 2 days ago, Did needle sweep ,fuel tank refill Qty ,comfort blink cycle to 5,
mirror dip passenger side , all OK but -Traffic info (TCM) on OBD reports unavailable is there another way round?
Have Bolero infotainment unit with TP button.

Can you enable rain closing with the OBDeleven? I would really like that activated (seems stupid previous model had it but this one doesnt!)

Yes you can, but I've seen people warn that the reason it is disabled is due to a different module being used which can cause other issues. I'm not going to bother with the mirror dip as too many people complain about it not working well without the electric seats fitted.

Mine came with Rain Closing out of the factory, is it standard on the Mk3 RS?

I haven't poked around enough long enough to see if it was enabled in a settings menu, but now I think about it, I do recall it being in there somewhere. I've seen other things that people went into VCDS to sort out as well in the past that were now visible.

Ok. I must be blind or stupid. Can you take a screenshot of where the elusive TP and RDS settings are in the Radio section? I can only see Radio text as the closest option on my car.

On the O3 in radio settings tick radio text and under advanced RDS

These are bothticked and that's it

I knew my car was different somehow...mine doesn't have advanced settings. I just have radio text ticked.

Plus I notice that mine says FM Settings and yours says FM Setup.

Curious to know if your software is updated or something?

I just checked my traffic again now and it seems to be working finally

It just takes a bit of time to download the information, i find that first thing in the morning the alerts don't start for a minute or two.

Traffic with a jan 16 RS The Hawk (Aaron) got working for me tonight but no luck enabling the remote and inside button for the auto boot. It threw fits over wanting a security code and the one in briskoda wouldn't work. Anyone do this in a my16 with VCDS recently?

I'm on the south side Sydney but I don't have VCDS. I used OBD eleven bluetooth dongle to get my traffic activated, amongst other things.

Anybody in Brisbane able to help out with this plus a couple of other options on a new Superb? I don't think that Darkhorse Developments is active anymore, haven't been able to get in touch with him. Thank you!
