Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Finally had my maps updated today after chasing Skoda for 18 mths. My MY15 Octavia Elegance Wagon arrived with 2014Row installed.

    Couldn't update the maps via the Update Portal. My VIN kept telling me 14ROW .... never been able to update.

    Conacted my dealer and Skoda HO every month & after a failed attempt a few weeks ago, finally they delivered today. Now have 16/17ROW. Be interested to see if the next update via the portal works!

      Over year after last post on this thread I am pleased to report a successful map upgrade carried out on my Octavia RS wagon (production date 08/14 delivery date 01/15)!!

      Thank you Alto Audi/Skoda Artarmon in Sydney. They did it at no cost as part of a regular service. A very good dealer experience!
