UPDATE (23/05/2015): Please don't download (Ver Q3.14) yet, experiencing issues with updating the unit. I'll update this section when successful.

Use either of the links below for the latest map (Ver Q3.14):

2. Download using Skoda's download manager (recommended) - http://infotainment-cdn.skoda-auto.c...extension=.exe

I used WinRar to extract the Zip file onto the SD card.

Please perform this update at your own risk. Total file size is close to 20 GB and can take up to an hour to extract and another hour to update the system. Update can be interrupted and the system will continue update from where it left when you start the car the next time.

Note: This map update is only for the Columbus MIB system on the MK3 Octavia. If someone can start the download of the current ROW map for their Amundsen system and let me know what the filename is then I may be able to figure out what the latest version is.

After 5 hours of downloading, then tried to open it...invalid zip file. ><

Hmm....do i need to use a downloader for such a big file?

Just under 20gb. My internet speed is only 1mb/s download. =(

It feels like my internet thinks it is though. I'm only 20 mins away from Melbourne CBD, but because it's a new area, with no infrastructure upgrades done...everyone is sharing the lines/distribution boxes. I'm also probably on the edge of the border. Oh..i'm not on ADSL2+, not available in my area. So i'm stuck with Telstra on some stupid offnet plan for like $93 a month for 200gb. Crappy situation, but better than no internet. Anyways, i've just downloaded a download manager, hopefully that will help with the download.

download and use Winrar to unzip it. i had the same problem and Winrar fixed it. Now to find my spare 32gig SD card.

It unzips ok, I'm loading tomorrow as you can't use tge nav when updating it.

I don't like my chances...sigh...60gb of data and 15 hours of downloading wasted. Boo!

Windows won't unzip the file - maybe it's too big for that built in archiver? 7zip, Winrar or Mac/Linux will unzip the file fine.
