As I mentioned in my intro thread one of the first things I'd like to do is change the rims. Can anyone with any knowledge tell me if 19x8.5 ET43 would fit without any bother?

Rears should look close to spoke on me thinks.

A few of the guys have gone fairly wide. I had a quick search but can't find the threads.
You might also check with the Brits at Briskoda - a lot of them run aggressive fitments.
Make sure you can get tyres of sufficient load rating. On the R36 Passat it was hard to go to 19s because of the load rating.carandimage The place where Off-Topic is On-Topic
