Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Probably just take a quick measurement and get the one from Poland. Thanks !
Aliexpress is a portal for individual sellers. I think I've had 2 dud sellers in 30 transactions & got a refund both times. The sellers don't get paid until you acknowledge receipt of the item. Just look for someone with multiple diamonds / lots of sales in their rating

Look right to you guys ?

Says it is supposed to stretch to 100cm and 103 cm but if i use the bottom two hooks (closest to the tailgate), I reckon it'd stretch out the bungee cord or even snap it if I try to get anything under there!

Oh well, good enough for now I guess. Postage via DHL too so it came pretty quickly.

The edges are supposed to be tight to hold the item in place.

Unclip one corner, place item under net, reclip corner.

LOL i don't need instructions on how to use it haha

Is that what your net looks like ? My mate said his net has 6 hooking points .. his must be an OEM one ?

The old nets that I had in my other cars were never this tight. Guess that's what buying non-OEM gets us !

Mine is OEM. It looks exactly like that.

              Sweet, thanks ... it's a tight ass fit !!!!!!!

I used to be able to (in my old renault) fit a bunnings plastic box and it sat pretty snug under the net. Granted they are not identical cars/nets and of different design, I'll try later to see if I can get a box under this net with it stretched all the way to the corners.
