  • Skoda Upgrades

    Hey, I'm from Newcastle.

I currently own at 2010 Skoda Octavia 147TSI RS 6DSG Liftback.

Just curious if anyone knows if there is anyone that can tune and install boost gauges, waste gates etc and what will it cost.

You wont need to touch wastegates mate. You will need a boost tap for the inlet manifold if you want to hook up a boost gauge - some gauges come with the option of a boost tap and other dont. What brand are you looking at?

                Hey guys

Not really sure what brand is best. Just aiming to make a pretty cool Skoda 😃.
Being a P plater I cant go all out just yet,so I'm mainly looking at little things first

                Thank you in advanced

Have a look at Podi and also NewSouth for boost guages - they make ones to suit the Golfs but not sure if they make ones for Skoda? Also have a look on SuperSkoda as they have heaps of bits and pieces you might like.

                      auto polar FIS.

why not use the screen between the dials for a boost gauge and 20+ other ECU displays?

looks factory, controlled from the factory buttons. why would you stick a big boost gauge on the dash when you already have a potentially un-used screen to utilise

also covers tacho. but with a truck motor you only need to see 1500-2500 anyway

From driving position it only covers the warning lights in the middle of the tacho, and 0-500; 5,500-6,000rpm.
Any warnings come up on the MFD anyway!
