So I have an Octavia VRS and loving it. My question regards servicing. The last service was its 12 month service in Sept 2013 with 6700km on the clock. It is about to tick over 15000km. Does this mean it is now due for its 15K service, or do I wait for the 2 year service?
I would call the dealer but they no longer exist, and they didn't mark the "next service due" section in the log book.

Based on the information you have provided, the first service (which is the 15 000 km / 1 year service) was performed at:

6 700 km on 09/2013.


Therefore, the next service (which is the 30 000 km / 2 year service) is due in:

21 700 km or 09/2014

whichever is reached first.

Hopefully the MFD will remind you in September. Painful paying for a full service when you've only done half the KMs!

Go to Vehicle Status display on your MFD and it will show you number of days/kms until next service (assuming the counter was reset at the last service).

As an indicator my Passat had its 15000k check at 6000k, its 30000 at 12000 and its 45000 at 18000k

Each was done at 12 month intervals as per the schedule of 12months or 15000k whichever comes first.

The period resets every service. Effectively you had your 15,000km service at 6700km. Your next service is due 12 months or 15,000km after the last one - which ever comes first. So either Sept 2014 or 21,600km.

You'll be looking at a minor service plus brake fluid change & pollen filter
