Apart from maintenance items like filters and oil all I have replaced is a windscreen (rock on the freeway), OS headlight washer jet assy (wallaby tail) and the AC compressor at about 85,000 km. I had a Denso compressor put in and it seems better than the OEM one so far.Comment

I've had my 1.8tsi for 2190 days. Averaged 62.6km/day for $12,795 of (mainly) 98ron (9109L) = 6.65L/100km. Pretty happy with that.

So 6.447L/100km consumption. I notice the reading is 0.6L/h while idling - is that with the aircon engaged? My Golf 90 TSI reads 0.5L/h without the aircon on and 0.7L/h with it on.Nov '15 Polo 81TSI manual whiteComment
