My kids & mother have the annoying habit of using the grab handle above the door & letting go so that it bangs noisily - over & over. Kids are kids & Mum has dementia so no point telling them to stop.
I bought some handle dampers off AliExpress (can't see them on ebay). They were ~AUD14 for 4. This seller does them 6 for $14 - I have no idea why as you only need 4 & once you do the mod you'll never get them apart again without demolishing the pivot pin. Buy 2 lots (12 & you'll have enough for 3 cars.
The instructions are in the listing. The only thing I did different was remove the screw cover as it makes access easier. The screws are Torx (same size as the common one on pushbikes T4?) not triple-square.
It will take you 30 minutes tops & works perfectly.
Recommended for those that like to fiddle.
Also, the R8 coil packs - just do it!
