You're right. Just checked them, Carmen is scheduled to dock 16/11 in Melbourne.

Mine is on the Figaro also. With my binoculars I will be able to see it sail past Adelaide the day before it docks in Melbourne to unload my car to then be trucked back to Adelaide. My guess is that it should reappear of the Western Cape tomorrow or Thursday.

Hi micric, I am just wondering that will you get paint protection and tinted window done by dealer or someone you know? I am thinking Adelaide paint protection which uses ceramic pro but I dont know he is good or not?

I've only just started doing some research into paint protection and tinting, but have always avoided doing this through as dealer, as I have never found them to be cost competitive or willing to provide adequate detail about who is doing the work or what products they will be using. I've had good reports on OptiCoat, so will be doing some research on who in Adelaide does it this weekend.

The Figaro is back in view just of Cape Town, so should be in Port Elizabeth in around 20 hours time. That would still have it on track for its scheduled 18/11 arrival in Melbourne. Whilst this will make my wait about 6 months to the day based on expected time from offloading to delivery, I'll give the dealer credit that this is exactly the time frame they quoted me in late May when I first inquired about the car.

Dealer is taking the rap. Hes pretty decent. Ive got him on the case to see if he can find a car like what I ordered, but in a different colour. Otherwise, have to think of my options. .......

Carelessness. Thats really the only thing. If I was a dealer, i'd would ****ing triple check that **** (i'd prob also know all the codes off by heart though ha ha) to make sure I wasnt the cause of any issues.
