New Octavia ....when? How Much?

We get some different colours in Aust. No sprint yellow,rallye green or rio red here. We get cappucino beige, moon white metal grey and topaz brown they don't. Looks like Black or one of the whites for me. if its something else you need some chrome to break up the large areas of colour.

Where have you seen the Aussie colour range for the vRS?

I've seen the colour choices for the cooking Octavias. They've certainly gone conservative. boring colours.

edit: Just looked at the UK colour choice. No Candy White!.

You're comparing the normal octavia to the vRS octavia (the thread posted was colours for the vRS), Sprint yellow is a RS exclusive colour for instance. They have a different colour palette.

True. The colours I looked at for the OZ range are only those for the standard Octavia. The UK survey is for vRs but UK only colours.

Aus range for new vRS isn't out yet, hence the confusion. Btw NZ sells the full range of RS colours, but they tend to get more customization than us.

UK gets candy white for both the vRS and standard Octy, not sure where you're looking? Whats interesting is that neither UK or NZ get Moon White...

Redbook is listing colour options for the various models now, but I don't know how correct this information is. 9 colours available as far as I could see, but I didn't check every variation; the configurator on the Skoda site has 8 colours but omits Metal Grey.

Brochures are the most reliable usually, all 9 standard colours are listed on page 21.

Brochure is better cause it shows that Platin Grey was replaced by Rio Red.

We will probably get all the colours for the RS, maybe not Sprint Yellow though as that was discontinued here for the previous RS.

sprint yellow has always been, and still is, on the RS pallete for the oz market.

will they make it available again for the mk3 vRS - we just gotta wait and see.
considering sprint yellow is one of only three exclusive colors for the new RS, i don't see it being omitted for the oz market.

Sorry dark, you are correct. The colour selection on redbook is incorrect for the Wagon RS, which is what I was looking at. It'll probably be available here as well, though I'm still undecided about it. Some pictures it looks great and some it makes the car a bit big and sparse.

I found the Skoda New Zealand website by accident the other day, they have pricing and all that even have the vRS listed not like the Aussie site, here is the link

Skoda NZ is NOT managed by VW NZ, hence they get to pick and choose whatever options r made available, std equipment, and pricing.
It's a shame Skoda Aus don't get that privilege cause of big brother's (vw aus) fears/insecurity!!

Yeah its been up on the NZ site for a while. At least their price of $47K suggests ours will be fairly cheaper than that, theirs is very well specced to, I know for sure that we're only getting 7 airbags in the aus RS vs the Elegance's 9

Interesting to see 3 pedals are a special order only in N.Z. Comparing prices the RS is $8K over the "Elegance" . Their dreaming if they think they ll sell for that.
