I don't know what it is, but I'm just not sold on those front seats. I think they look too big in the cabin and also a bit 1980's in styling rather than 2013!

I think they look great. Elements of the brilliant seats in the Alfa 147 GTA with the ribbing material in the centre.

It's a 12v power outlet in this country. AFAIK Skodas in Australia have never been offered with cigarette lighters or ash trays as standard.

If you zoom right in on what appears to be an ignition switch on the steering column it looks like it is not actually a switch. It appears to have three lines of text on it. I suspect that in this picture at least this car is fitted with a start/stop switch.

What do you have in the hole in yours? We have a lighter and I'm pretty sure an ash tray. Maybe they removed them in the FL.

The plug is just a plastic plug marked "12v" as in the pics on the new models and there is no ash tray. The lift up lid box in front of the gear lever where the ash try would be is just felt lined. Mine has an iPod in it I put in there when I got the car and I don't think the lid has been opened since until about two days ago.

I'm still really struggling with this design feature



The sort of pocket above the driving lights. I can't see how it is in any way aerodynamic to have wall there where the air flows around the body and it looks to me like a great trap for bugs and airborne rubbish and a potential place for bad stone damage.
Can anybody offer a reason for it's existence other than "styling"?

it may be necessary to create a low pressure area in order for the headlight washers to be more effective. (The other possibility is that I could be just making it up)

At least is a vaguely plausible explanation although logic would say that as no other vehicle with headlight washers has ever had this feature either Skoda is way ahead of the curve or it's not correct.
