Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

18x8 is a good size but the Audi's tend to run a different offset to VW
    The VMR 708 18x8.5 are normally ET35
2012.1 Skoda Octavia VRS DSG Wagon - Carbonio cold air intake and pipe - HPA Motorsports BBK 355mm rotors 6 pot calipers
APR Stage II ECU - APR 3" exhaust down pipe & high flow catalyst
APR/HP Roll bars - Eibach springs and Bilstien shocks
Supaloy lower control arms - Enkei 18*8 Wheels

All good there, already checked the VMR website and in the 18x8.5 708 there is the option of 38 or 45 offset.

Can't remember now, the FL were Neptunes. I did know at one point. I find them hard to clean.

              Thanks, thats the one.

What would be a fair price on a set for me to sell? Very minimal gutter rash and a couple of flakes of paint come off 1.

Unless I'm wrong, I swear someone once said that the full size Zenith fits into the same hole in place of the space saver...some people might be up for that option if that's the case as the steel wheel while better than a space save still has limitations on it speedwise. You could even keep one for the same purpose if you found 3 other buyers.

Good thinking. If it weighs a kilo or something less I might do that haha. Tires are nearly bald anyway
