VCDS scan of RS MY12

Hey guys,

Would someone mind performing a complete VCDS scan and posting here for me please?

I have major coding issues, and I'm struggling to get some functions working correctly or at all.

I've asked in VCDS section, but I'm not sure there are as many people frequent that area.

I borked my BCM coding once and the instrument panel lighting wasnt working either. Just copied the coding back from the scan I did before I started fiddling with it (tip for young players there) and all was well.

i did a scan yonks ago, but the hdd in the laptop died.

anyway, you live and learn! i have illumination back! just lacking auto lights, CH/LH, and my DRLs have decided to be tail lights instead and giving me rear bulb errors. however, rear fog lights BOTH light up now. something i thought was impossible

looks like others have 'lost' their DRLs before on FL 1Z models

I lost my DRL's too, after getting my 4th Body Control Module.
Dealership fixed it by giving me my 5th one.

Dual rear fogs was nice, though! XD

looks like it was the region change that I did (thinking that's what it was)

when you change it back, it doesn't really change back to 00, there IS a code specific to your model, but its masked with 00 when you read it with VCDS.

anyway, if there is a combination of our particular light setup, with dual rear fogs, its in there. someone went though one day and changed his car to every combination to see which one would work.

good news indeed
now make sure u have copy of ur vcds scan on a usb drive, on a cd, on a dvd, on ur hdd, online storage, etc etc etc!!!
