picked up my car this afternoon and DSG feels completely different, much tighter, no hint of vibration or slip. hopefully it stays this way which they assured me it will as it has uprated clutch packs which the new models now come with from factory. steering wheel is off centre so will need to get this rectified.

will take it for a good drive to test out manual and sport mode.

also didn't end up paying for the loan car which was a pleasant surprise.

I have an agreement with my dealership. I pay for fuel, rather than the .35c/km that everyone else gets.

Although, I regularly put 150km+ on the loan cars each time I take them out!!

What's the steering wheel got to do with getting your DSG fixed?

The steering wheels are off centre by default, maybe you never noticed it before? I can't see how they could have done anything to affect that.

spoke to dealer this morning and apparently the drop the entire sub frame which can play with the alignment. Perplexing Skoda will not cover the cost of alignment unless they have the equipment in house!!!!

                        Try accc..

Funny though, VAG in Russia, China and US admit the DSG problems and even providing ten year warranties to help solve customer confidence issues, yet here they barely want to about there is problem.. I guess it held explain the high cost of official extended warranty..

I meant the steering wheel column itself isn't centred...its off to one side. Once you notice it you can't not see it...be warned.

It is better to replace the DSG as I did on my golf early this year. The only downside is parts delivering take so long.....
