Haha same! Ironic considering I doubt many people in Chile (where the guy on Briskoda - probably the only Skoda owner there - found it) even know what a Skoda is.

car could be off, but the showroom car that had the cover on it has LED DRLs in the bottom of the headlight unit

New 2014 Octavia Spied!

Shame Skoda don't build a BMW X3 type car/SUV. That'll be my next purchase in about 1.5 year time...

Yeti if updated yes, god they're nice but I still do want a Skoda.. Perhaps Octavia vRS Combi when new shape released??

I think the wagons are an alternative to the SUV, so many brands have SUVs but decent wagons are becoming few and far between outside of VAG..

I was looking at SUVs first before settling on the Octavia Scout as I got 4x4 and more usable boot space than most SUVs..

I think it would be harder to stand out in the SUV area though it is a growing area, I just don't understand why? I personally find the Octavia or Superb far more practical..

True, but I want something sport with performance and luxury. I don't need leather seats. But supportive "sport" style seats. M package on the X3 with the 2ltr engine would be ideal. Or, Skoda Octavia vRS wagon/combi too. So you say they have more boot room? I too would like to drive over things, you know like curbs and signs and so on. ^_^

Most of the suvs I looked at had more space on paper, but the Octavia boot had more usable space for me, flat and space is more horizontal than vertical, if that means sense?

And back on topic with the new Octavia! I've read that it's on the new platform but much larger in size, so take it the wagon and notch will have larger boots and more interior space then now. Longer is good to fit more purchase items from ikea and bunnnings thanks to the Gf - but saying that, motoring reports from Europe say that the new Octavia is more Ford Mondeo size then its competitor the Focus!
