Front passengers seat belt anchor

Anyone else taken a look at the passenger seat belt anchor in the front? Mine doesnt have a plastic cover over it ie you can see the bare metal cable which bolts to the chassis. Drivers side has a cover on it.
WHen I mentioned it at the first service today the service manager said he looked at a few other cars and none of them had it?

Can some other vRS owners confirm/deny this? Seems like a pretty 'cheap' way to cut costs...not too impressed if that is the case.

Yeah was brought up ages ago, they are all like that.

That's lame. I know I bought into the value end of the vag family but that's pretty scummy to skimp on basic interior trim IMHO
