Skoda Mats

Hey guys,

Just picked up a 90TSI DSG Octavia Wagon and there where no floor mats included. I was under the impression that they where standard. Is that correct?

If not can you folks recommend a good place in Melbourne to pick up some mats?

You might as well pick up a set of rear door sill covers too since shipping costs a bit.

Just about every skoda i have Pd'd has had mats in the car to be fitted.

I made them throw in the mats when I got mine.

I picked up a set of Octavia branded rubber floor mats at Camberwell VW. About $70. The rubber mat for the boot area is also available, around $140.

I haven't got the sales brochure handy but you should check to confirm the listed inclusions. I thought they were standard although it may just be VRS.

I'm pretty sure all mats are included, but things keep changing. I was always told $140 for the boot mat, but when I ordered one and it came in the price was suddenly $170.....go figure.

i can't see it in the current brochure.

Certainly when i got mine in '08 they made a big deal of included floor mats in the mid-range Elegance spec. Not sure about the base Ambient spec

When I was buying in 2009, one dealer quoted for the mats, another threw them in for free.
