Will do, just gotta wash the car first the missus keeps putting dirt on it lol.

I am pretty happy with the VMR's so far. Didn't have to change anything to put them on - used the same wheel bolts and covers too! They are wrapped in the Continental Extreme Contact DWs and I cannot fault the setup. The steering does feel a little bit heavier but the missus hasn't noticed so no problems there and I haven't had them foul anything over big bumps etc yet - but we will see what happens when we lower it next year.

The only thing I am thinking about changing on the wheels is actually the colour. I've been looking at some of these golfs that have 'in your face' colours on the rims...the missus also likes the idea - so thinking about whether or not to spray them a different colour next year

EDIT: Also, have seen the neptunes in white and they didnt look very good. classy 5 spokes look good in white (IMO) - theres a few others that look ok too. Would prob do it with some suspension mods (to lower)

I'm also leaning (back) towards 5-spoke .. think I must change my mind several times a day - wtf?!?

I originally liked the oettingers that dru suggested earlier on, then thought I prefered various mesh, then recently saw the ADV.1 5.1's and fell in sweet lurve ....... but not with their $6k price tag!! (here's a pic of them on blue)



.. and then after way too much mouse-clicking, tonight I stumbed upon these beauties (Forgestar CF5) at a mere fraction of the cost of ADV.1 - now if only (fingers crossed!) availability of an Octy-friendly offset is better than that of a freshly ordered polo gti ; )

modbargains.com lists them for $1560 US a set for 19x8.5's, so still probably a bit pricey when sourced locally I imagine, but still a 25-33% the price of ADV.1's gorgeous 5-spokes.

Arrrrr...........brings back the sweet memories of the joy and pain of falling in love with wheels and then uming and arring about fitment, looks, price, colour, style and then just when your heart and mind is set on a set, you decide to change your mind again for a whole myriad of reasons. Would be interesting to see what the flavour of the day is tomorrow mate.

They look pretty good. I think its the simplicity (and ease of cleaning lol) I like for 5 spokes. Leave the car looking clean. Some new wheels
today overcomplicate things.

On off chance, what sort of offset/pcd etc does the octavia have?
