    Correct. I just hated taking it off roads. Also, the track I was on had a high hump in the middle which scraped the underbody a few times. But I think a wagon of any sort is the way to go - after seeing so many wagons on our Drive Day my wife is pretty well convinced (it was she who originally said no more wagons after three in a row).

      I had a MkIV Golf with sports supension (only a 10mm drop). After doing 2 sumps and seeing the underside, the succeeding cars have been an Outback and now the Scout - I only occasionally drive gravel/dirt, but enjoy it when I do it, and something like the Scout is a great compromise!
