This morning I said goodbye to my ute and picked up my black Roomster.
Then made the trip under Sydney harbour from Nothshore Skoda to my work at Sutherland.
To say I am impressed is an understatement. If I live to be 100 I doubt if I will even get such a bargain again.
We love driving our Octy tsi but I can see the pure practicality of the Roomster making it the car of choice for many of our trips.
Northshore sold approx 6 last week and this morning I was told there are four or five left. If you know anyone.....
    I will post photos later.

Nice buying. My father (age 82) is looking at changing. Told him what a bargain the Roomsters are. I'm sure he'll dither just long enough to ensure dissapointment.

WHo are you with in Sutho? (PM if you wish)

It just goes to show the everything has a price.
With hindsight maybe some gentle price manipulation and some astute marketing would have turned the Roomster the fast seller it should be rather than turning it into a virtual orphan that will now only be owned by a few lucky people.
Congratulations on the new toy I'm sure it will get plenty of use.

            Roomster and Octavia Refelections

Two weeks and 1,000 klms in the Roomster and its all good. Still running in so still taking it easy but no problems mixing it with the Sydney traffic. Good ride and handling and a quality 8 speaker stereo. (Though I miss the touch screen and SD card slot from the Octy's bolero.)
Its a very different beast from the Octavia. I think they make a good combination, complementing each other. The Octy tsi as a rewarding and satisfying driver's car and the Roomster as the town runabout.
Last week I transported a 3 ft fish tank, stand and a heap of associated junk 40 klms. . All went in the Roomster once the back seats came out. I think I will leave the rear middle seat out and move the two outer seats closer together. (Yes - you can do that!) to make it a four seater with more space than any rear seat passenger is ever gonna need.

            One Skoda good.

            Two Skoda's bloody great!

Nice photos max. Roomsters sure look quirky. I like them!

You need to get a black Texta or some gloss black paint and colour those silver screw heads on the Roomster's number plate though.

                hey mate,

just saw your photo album with the two skodas, starring the black roomster.

nice! the black will require some enthusiasm to keep it looking showroom-new [polishing, good wax, etc], but it's a small price to pay for your new acquisition- it looks great!

                congrats again,
