Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.     The glass mounts to their job for the local farms (South/East of Bowral) and campsites I've been to, and they're a little more appropriate for things like the VW nationals and drive days.

    If there were some way to embed an aerial into the Octavia's roof rails, I would be all over it!

          the more i go through this thread the more i want a octavia, currently in the market for a family car and i just dont think i could go past an octavia wagon, only trouble now is conviencing the missus haha

            Just picked up my new Octavia. 90TSI Special Edition Rapt with all the optional extra's it came with for the price.

                            Started trying this long exposure thing while opening the doors and getting in on the shot lol. So the car is open AND closed

                                Yeah its ghosty as cos I was only in there for a quarter of the exposure.

                                Will stand up next time, just need a buddy to flash me near the end. This was all my opening the doors during exposure then holding still
