    Coolant level sender question

    Hi all.

    Have a 2015 VRS and it’s coming up with low level coolant alarm. It was going away when it got warm after restarting but is constantly on now.

    I just want to confirm the sender is the issue, does anyone know what the correct resistance range is when level is ok? I’m assuming open circuit triggers the alarm.

    The coolant level sensor built into the coolant overflow tank is very common to fail and this causes the "low coolant" message on your dash, even though the coolant level is actually ok.

    New coolant cap is optional but might be a good idea.
