Octavia II to Octavia III wagon roof rack compatibility

Has anyone upgraded from a II to III wagon and taken their roof rail racks across between the cars?

Secretly I don’t want them to fit so I can buy all black Thule bars but if I can save the $$$ then I should.

I think the cross bars that the bike carriers go onto will work. Not sure about the actual rail parts that bolt to the roof.

It’s a 2010 wagon moving to a 2017 wagon. Both with roof rails.

I went from a 2009 Mk2 to a 2014 mk3. Width of the roof bars is totally different. Also the rails are wider at the front of a Mk3 to the rear. Luckily I have the adjustable ProRacks. Take them off when not in use do to the wind noise they make.
