I spied that the Qi wireless charging is now in the updated Mk3, any reason why they wouldn't be able to be fitted in an existing MY16 RS? Or what is involved?

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

You should be aware if you aren't already that the QI wireless charger fitted is great if you have an older smaller mobile phone but of no great value if you have a late model 'larger' phone. for example my samsung S7 fitted and worked great in the charger but while with a bit of fiddling I can get my s8 plus into the area to charge I only did it once because getting the phone back out was a real pain!! -
My S9 has no hope of getting in there. A pity because when I test drove the car (Superb) I had an S6 and that fitted perfectly.Comment

OK good to know. I have an iPhone 8, so I regularly chucked it in there anyway. My wife has an iPhone 7 plus but they don't have wireless charging, but later on if she stays with that size sounds like she will have issues. I do have a windscreen mounted cradle that has fast Qi charging but then have a cable hanging about.Comment
