Does anyone know the micron rating & efficiency of the OEM Oil filter in the V6 3.0L TDI engine?

Do you use a particular aftermarket oil filter? Reason?

Which alternative oil to use? spec 507.00?

Ive a t4 97 and am replacing clutch, intriguingly no-where illustrates the position of this last bolt (above drive shaft.?) Maybe mine doesn't have one, whatever the reason the tranny wont seprerate from the engine.
