Roof baskets

Since buying the skoda we've had two kids and now the four of us and the mother in law are going on a holiday. I need luggage space.

Has anyone got recommendations on roof racks and baskets for the octavia wagon? I had a look at the Thule website and not particularly taken by any of their offerings but am easily swayed.

I’ve had various racks on our cars over the years and I have to say the best ones have been the Whispbar racks on the Skoda. Extremely quiet as the name suggests.

I can’t comment on roof boxes as never purchased one but have always likes Thule products for their quality and build, particularly bike rack stuff.
