    The return of the prodigal son....I have rejoined the Skoda family!

    Hi all!

    It's been a few years since I've popped in here.
    After enjoying 2 years with a beautiful Volvo V60 Polestar , I have rejoined the Skoda Octavia RS family.

    Just sold the Polestar, and bought a stunning 2018 RS wagon in Ralyee green, with every possible option on it! I have lusted after this colour away back since 2012 when I ordered my previous RS. Back then Skoda hardly imported the green, so I missed out.

    Anyway, absolutely loving the new beast!

    I look forward to hanging out here a bit more often.

    Any plans for the RS??? Or just enjoy it for now and look at it again in 6 months?

        Welcome back!
        How was the Polestar?
        I have a soft spot for V60's and would love a 2016 on-wards R-Design with the 8spd and Drive-E engine...

          Hey all! Thanks for the welcome.

          The V60 polestar was an outstanding car!
          I bought it with only 7,000 kms on it from an older guy who no longer drove. So it was literally like brand new (only 12 months old when I bought it) I got SUCH a good deal, that I couldn't say no.
          They were $115,000 new (I paid half that)

          But I do a lot of driving, so within 2 years, I had 80,000 kms on it, and warranty was up. So I listed it for sale, and actually made money on it!

          So now, back to the car I have always loved and lusted after: my Green Octavia RS wagon.

          I wont modify it yet. It is fully optioned, so I have plenty to keep me entertained for now. Maybe if and when I start getting bored with it in the future....
