Only took 90 minutes to downlaod the 24gb. Unzipped to 27gb.
It was much quicker than last time due to my improved NBN speed lately and an improvement in Skoda's server.

The said update been made available since Oct - is this the June or November version for those who are familiar? My MY18 is already on the 2017 maps.

with this "November" update - its gone from 062 to 065.
so the maps have been updated, but i wish they had release notes or something to give us an idea what has changed since the last update.

i had done an update back in August on my Superb MY17. That said i was on version 2017.
so im not sure wats new in this version.

Yeupppp downloading as we speak. Though has anyone had issues with their fuel options since upgrading their maps?

When i initially got my Skoda, it will show all Shell fuel servos with the shell logo. Now its just a bunch of numbers i.e 125/50 etc.

i'm hoping this will be resolved with this map update.

My MY16.5 car was fine when I got it, but the numbers appeared when I did the first update a year ago.

I'm attempting to download it now, says its going to take another 1 day and 3 hrs. Has anybody downloaded it on to a sd card already. I ll pay for the card , postage etc .

After reading the other thread, it appears it wont load on my MY14 without the lock code anyway.

Just updated mine. Took about 2.5hrs to download on a 50Mbps NBN and 45 mins to update in the car using a 32GB Samsung EVO+ SD card. Took me 3 tries to update due to the following (tips to others):

- MIB doesn't seem to like a card with files transferred through a Mac (somehow Mac OS dumped a few hidden files into the card) - resolved using Clean My Drive 2 app to remove any junk files. Lock the card to prevent further writing to the card once done
- All 3 files once unzipped ("MIB1", "MIB2" and a txt file) SHOULD be in the root of the card (not in under another folder which is by default normally once you unzip)

I gave up ever using my Macs, it always halts the download and can't restart it. I use my slower work computer on the slower network there to download.

I'm on 100 Mbps NBN and my download took about 18 hours lol
