Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    What did you get yours down to?

    Hi, more or less made up our mind to get one for the misses... just looking at the prices

    how much did you end up paying for yours?
    and how long is the wait this days?


    EDIT: got one for 53400 with tech lux and sunroof (thats SA for you...)

    Mate of mine just bought one this week.
    $52335 drive away (QLD) - 2 weeks delivery (the car was already in stock somewhere)

    That was with Quartz Grey, Tech Pack, Lux Pack, Beige Leather, Mudflaps, Tinting.

    He also added a sunroof, and the dealer rounded it up to $54K flat. But would of been $52335 without the sunroof.

      Just took one for a drive yesterday! I really liked it, it's not fast but it's really well put together.

      52k for that package looks like he didn't negotiate at all.

        Meh...they're happy with the price. And it was the best price they could get out of 3 dealers and a car broker.
