Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. Skoda Fabia 2015 Review – Car Reviews, News & Advice - carsales.com.au

Very positive review. I love this little thing, so tempted to buy it as a run-about haha (which I totally don't need!).

Impressive lineup, good pricing. Makes you wonder why Skoda aren't kicking more goals. I honestly thought they'd be doing better than they are with the quality of the Octavia and Scout.

Due to more tech, and updated style I have changed my decision on purchasing a 66TSI Polo, and going to get a Fabia instead!

Automatic City breaking, rear parking sensors, and apple car play/andriod auto sold me!

Thinking of a Rally Green colour concept (Potentially with a panoramic sunroof) not sure. Almost looks like an RS!

    Current; 9n3 Polo GTI

I bought a Polo in June because I needed a car right then and there but if the Fabia had been around I probably would have opted for it. Great reviews and awards in Europe you won't be disappointed.

Except the Polo has been updated

Composition Media 6.5-inch (replaces Composition Colour 5.0-inch) high resolution touchscreen display
App-Connect USB interface for Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink
        Reverse-view camera

All polos have cruise control. The Fabia 66tSI does not

agreed, but you still miss out on leather wrapt steering wheel and controls, all the new safety features and rear sensors, and can get alloys, colour concept, cruise and LED DRLs for 1500 on top. so for 17.5k you get everything on the 81 TSI besides from the higher tune.

camera isn't a big deal for me because its such a small car anyway, wasn't even worried about sensors.

Drove the new wagon today - Very impressive! Stock wont be in for a while, but it looks fantastic in person, and moves along quite nicely, considering the low output. Probably placing an order soon

hi, I assume you ordered the 81tsi as you got premium sports kit. you wouldn't happen to know how the 66tsi manual drove. I ordered one 2 weeks ago, could only drive 81 hatch. haven't even been able to see a wagon in Newcastle.

Now all they need is a RS model with the new 1.8t turbo from the polo gti

Didnt drive the 66tsi - no chance of have seen a wagon on the road yet - the dealer demos at the moment are MY15 models, which are missing some kit and are, at the moment.

apparently there are no plans to bring an RS model out - they only made up around 3% of sales of the old model

Looks good - Im probably going to order the black grille and mirror caps from superskoda - also contemplating the RS wheel centres as im already getting the wheels painted black

Have many people purchased the new Fabia?
I took an auto hatch for a test drive a few weeks ago, then my daughter wanted me to take her, so we managed to take the wagon for a test drive, she fell asleep within 5 minutes of being in the car.
I was told at the second test drive, that the car I wanted, the manual wagon, would take a minimum of 6 months to arrive. The message wasn't really clear as to what the delay was, as to if there was a problem with it, or if it's just because of the demand for manuals in EU has resulted in there being a significant delay in them being available for other markets.

But, I've signed the paperwork, now I'm just playing the waiting game.

I ordered a manual wagon. wait is approx. 4 -5months. hopefully the less. the delay is mostly Soda aus and dealerships faults as they assume most people only order autos, so there was only 1 manual wagon ordered for the whole east coast as a demo, which was sold in first day in vic. then it was up to dealers to pre order, but none did. so the earliest you can get one is as a custom order. then the skoda factory shut down for summer break in august for 3 weeks.

Least you got to see the wagon first. only hatches here. did you happen to drive the manual? wondering if the power difference is noticeable. most reviews don't seem to have any problems.
