Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Just like to say that as a Fabia owner for 3 months now I am still very happy with more purchase. Yes I have been to a dealer twice for a oil top up and can only say that the dealer has been very understanding and topped it up free of charge each time. Other then the oil usage from the VOLKSWAGEN engine it is a car I would highly recommend. To be honest I don't think you will find a unhappy Skoda owner.2012 Fabia II VRS Estate- APR stage 2 tune, Custom 2.5" turbo back full stainless exhaust with ceramic coated dump pipe, Harding Performance Cold air intake, Wagner Tuning Competition Intercooler, GFB DV+ diverter valve, Braille B2317RP battery, Eibach pro kit springs, Bilstein B8 shocks, Harding Performance F+R ARB, Super Pro bushes, Porsche 986 Boxster S front brake calipers, 330x28mm front rotors, Ferodo DS2500 front pads and Remsa rear pads, Enkei RPF1 17x8 et.35 with 235/40R17 Yokohama AD08R tyres, Maxton front splitter and Superskoda fender flares.

Yeah. What he said. I bought 6 litres of oil on special when I bought my Fabia because of the stories I had heard.
I've only used 1 litre in 9000km, but i saved 90 dollars on my 15000 service by telling VW to use the rest on the oil change.
My Fabia is the best car I have ever owned. period.

I used to think I was anal-retentive until I started getting involved in car forums

Im just curious about secondhand prices, we got a brand new wagon for 26k.
There is plenty new or demo hatches from 22.9k to 25k so a 2011 should be anywhere between 18-20k?Last edited by muli; 31-05-2013, 10:05 PM.
