Skoda spotted thread

Spotted Fabia vRS at the dealership my brother works at. Fresh off the boat:

I spotted one around Kew yesterday as well, can't for the life of me remember what colour, but it had a different colour roof and definitely had RS bages.

^ i just took the little vRS Fabia for a spin (same one in the photo above). What a fun and quick little car. I'll have to be on my game if i pull up next to one at the lights in my Golf.

That's probably not his car. He might've had it as a courtesy car, a rental car, or just borrowed from a friend. That is why he doesn't know how to be a Skoda driver.

Dad and I went into the city this evening to see the amazing Vivid light show they've cast upon the Rocks + Opera House. In travelling there, to Rose Bay for dinner and home again we saw at least 20 Skodas which was a great sight. They were mostly Octavias (so many white RS wagons) and Superb wagons too, but most interestingly I saw a Fabia 77TSI and a Fabia RS Wagon and my god the wagon looks better in person (especially in the white we saw).

Also - There's a red Fabia RS at my dealership, waiting to be spruced up for the lot. Matching the one in the pics up there.

Love the wagon, more practical, as quick as the hatch if not faster( saw some drag race between the 2, wagon actually won).

Hatch is burdened with 30kg of ballast on the left rear quarter. Removal makes it a bit quicker than the wagon (and tail happy)

Superb taxi in Singapore yesterday. Driver said he has had it for 6 years, 650,000km, same gearbox and second engine. B5 series with a 2.0 petrol engine. It had the Skoda badge on the grill covered with another badge that displayed a circle with a wedge shape. I asked why no Skoda badge but couldn't make out the reason. My Chinese isn't that good.

My cousin was looking at compact SUVs in May and her white Yeti 103TDI 4x4 manual arrived last week (after an unexpected stay in hospital for her caused delivery delay). It's got the standard equipment list (which is everything you need really) with the only option/accessory being floormats. It's a great little car with so much character! I was particularly impressed with the Bluetooth system which, while I couldn't get more than one phone paired with it at the same time, was very quick to connect to our iPhone 4s' and provided clear calls and music streaming. She loves it just as much so hopefully another happy Skoda owner. Glad to have another one in the family though!
