That was me on a quick errand to Monbulk! Only had it for seven days so it didn't take long to get spotted - spotted you too. Absolutely loving the Superb but feeling really lonely, have yet to see another one out here in the eastern suburbs.

You have interesting number plates they had me fooled for a sec. I assume that they are initials or something.
I hate to say this but I noticed the car and thought for ages it was an Octavia (I was behind it in the left lane for the readers). It was only when I noticed the sharks fin on the roof instead of the aerial that I had a better look and realised what it was. It's certainly light in there with all that glass on the roof. It was noticeably brighter inside than other cars.
I have seen a couple of Superb sedans around the hills on the weekends so there have been some at least visiting the area.

In the couple of weeks leading up to me joining, I did see a few Octavia's around the streets of Geelong, but since joining not a one to be be seen
Hopefully that changes real soon. Great to see other members out there spotting one another!

Yes, they're my initials but just general issue plates that I reserved in 1987 and have migrated from car to car. For some reason with pre-ordered plates, they left off the "Garden State" label, which is fine and I reckon the green lettering goes well with the Skoda badge. I picked up the next three plates in sequence for my other vehicles, much more economical than the special combo plates. Love the panoramic roof, makes the car feel even larger than it is inside, the grandchildren seem rather fascinated by it too and in reference to other threads here, it doesn't let through nearly as much heat as the windscreen.Originally posted by K1W1 View PostYou have interesting number plates they had me fooled for a sec......Skoda Superb Elegance Wagon 2.0 TDI DSG, Storm Blue Metallic, Glamour Ivory - Onyx floor, Panoramic roof, False floor, 3 spoke steering, Roller blinds, MDI, KESSY, Power tailgate, Tow bar - delivered and in service as of February 23rd. Saw a yellow octavia rs this morning in Caulfield. Is it anyone from here? Rare to see a skoda especially a yellow one. Looks cools imo
Was going to buy a diesel tiggy with DSG but gets quite expensive when you option it up so maybe a skoda? More convinced after seeing this yellow RS in the flesh.Last edited by darnit; 06-03-2011, 07:38 AM.

It might have been you. So you turned off Cowpasture Rd to go to the M5...did you go through the section of road works there, because that is where I saw it. I was not in the Skoda though, rather a Citreon work van.MY10 Occy vRS \\ GIAC Flash Tune \\ 19" VMR v713 \\ It's a Skoda. Honest.
