Skoda spotted thread

Yeah I know carcare, I just got my poorboys stuff from Dave at waxit instead. I used to use on my xr5 and they had some white specific stuff hence why I went with it again. Glaze will be topped by EX-P then the wax.

Ill be in both newy & tanilba bay over the break. White wagon with N RS 20D euro plates. Easy to spot!

Spotted a white Roomster yesterday arvo driving down Oxford Street Bulimba. That is probably only the second one I have ever seen on the road.

I have also seen a twin getting around the Bulimba/Hawthorne area over the last 2 weeks - another Candy White Octavia VRS F/L wagon. I saw it pulling onto Hawthorne Road near the cinemas last week.

Finally I spotted what I think was a satin grey Octavia wagon parked in the grounds of the Mater Hospital. I was on the 10th floor looking out the window after visiting the mrs and our new bub!

Yep that was it. Another one spotted! I remember as it was the first time I have seen one with the bike racks.

I was down in Oxford Street Bulimba today at lunchtime and spotted a Black VRS wagon with the Thule Roof Racks that appeared to be a cycling sponsors or work car. It had SRAM across the wagon windows and some other words. A quick google search of SRAM sees that they are pretty big in cycling circles. Not sure if it was a VRS getting ready for the Tour Down Under or a local.

To be honest guys I still haven't seen a Skoda on the road yet! I suppose probably because I use public transport to do most of my travel to and from work. Although, when I tell people that I'm buying a Skoda the reaction is usually either " . . a what?" or "A Skoda, you've got to be kidding?" because they are still viewed as a Soviet era car which is when they were last seen here prior to VW ownership. Anyway, this doesn't deter me because I know they're a good car.

Saw my first Superb sedan on the road yesterday, driving through Concord. Very nice!

I followed him onto Homebush Bay Drive although he turned into the Rhodes Shopping Complex.

Recent trip to melbourne, flashed my lights at a yellow Rs wagon which overtook me and then parked two cars beside a superb sedan, solar sunroof. same colour as mine. I actually pressed my unlock button and tried to open that cars door as they arn't very common :O

Whereabouts was the yellow wagon? I haven't seen another one in Melbourne-and I live in Cranbourne-which you'd pass through on the way to Philip Island. Mines easily picked by the black roof bars.

Another good day today. I parked in the Westfield Woden park (on the east side) and across the aisle from me was a Black vRS wagon, and the row behind me had a pre-FL Octavia wagon.

Roomster heading west on the Eastern Freeway (Melbourne) near Middleton Road about 10.15 this morning.
Judging from the reg I'd say it was mid/late 2009 registered.
I think that's the first one I have ever seen on th road in Melbourne.
