Looks great and in the best colour (red goes faster).

Are you going to mod her or just enjoy the driving?

    Cheers

Cheers Paul...........The car is totally stock and it is great fun to drive. But I would like it a bit lower and I want a bit more growl out of the exhaust nothing that is annoyingly loud tho. If you or anyone can recommend any tried and true springs or exhaust or other ways of getting some more power out of it.

Nice find. Very rare to find one in this condition with all the stickers on it. I found KW V2's to work really well. Still had a good ride but handled like on rails. I had mine on the highest setting which still gave it a nice stance lower that standard. Not cheap though.

I noticed that this belt is looking in pretty bad shape. I am just trying to get my head around how im going to change it. My abf repair manual doesnt really show how to change it. would I be rite in thinking that I have to undo these bolts and refit a new belt I havent done heaps of work on cars before but im not gonna pay someone to do it

              Really nice car

Normally there is a bolt that you undo (but not remove),
that enables one item to be swung on the bolt you loosened to release the belt tension
You can then change the belt and re-tension (don't over tension)

No mate not those. They hold the pulley to the pump. and there's one missing too.

It looks like the adjuster is in your picture but out of focus. There's a 13mm bolt through it. It just needs backing off a touch then you get a bigger spanner on the next bit back and this has teeth on it mated to a bar. That is the adjuster.

Nah, bottom right of your picture.

You can't be sure about the belt, except by taking the old one off and trying it.

The other bolt you can get from a wreckers off a MK3.

Okay got it.... just cleaned up around the bolt to see what I am doing I have noticed some of the teeth have been chewed up......Half the bolt is still good. I have tried to adjust with the good teeth but didnt budge. I dont want to destroy anymore of the teeth

Use a file to clean up any burred corners
Try an impact socket (they are the black ones)
They only have 6 six sides and hug the head very tightly

Otherwise you're in a spot of bother for sure

When you get the belt off, compare it's size to the replacement

After abit of research I think I have to undo the belt tensioner so there is more play in this other belt. I dont think I should have to apply that much force make it move. I really have no idea..... someone must have done this before surely

That red arrow is in the wrong place

The bright silver two part bolt at the bottom right is what you need to focus on
