      Next up!

My brother bought a chip for his MK3 Golf, I'll wait until he has installed it to see if it's worth it. But if it does what it says it does which is more power, then I'll install one of those.

Tires!!! So I can get those rims on!

Repaint some faded areas, such as the whole front end (don't want odd shades of red), top of the doors and the rear panel.

      Red footwell lighting.

Installing a shark fin on the roof and filling the gap for the original aerial.

Also, depending on my budget, brighter headlights!

It's coming together! Also, my brother is ordering some coilovers from eBay... I'll check out the quality and post a quick review.
Looking for a new project! PM if you have a Golf Mk2 in need of some TLC.

On 12 month suspension for enjoying my Ibiza GTI too much... 2 months left!

The starter motor seized up which I'm not too happy about. I bought a second hand one from Volks affair for $150, which isn't too bad. The only issue is that $150 was suppose to be for the cruise this Saturday . I'll be fitting it later today, hopefully it all goes well! I'll post some pics later.

Cheers Ryan! That's a MINT mk2 GTI you have!

Nice car! Digging the mods so far. Good to see the seats getting some love. I'm looking into some vinyl wrap for the roof of my golf but can only seem to find carbon fibre in a size big enough to cover. Was hoping you could point me in the right direction for some gloss black and wondering how much it set you back if you don't mind. Cheers.

Gloss Black Vinyl Roof Wrap - 100cm x 135cm - Car Craze Australia

These guys will do custom sizes if you require. Pretty quick delivery too!

Here is a photo of when I applied mine. As you can see I did half at a time which I found to be the best way of doing it.

                  Bad news!

Unfortunately, I got caught doing 117 down the Great Ocean Road. Being a P plater in Victoria, there is a 0 tolerance for 40 km/h over the speed limit... Meaning I lost my license. Which is a shame because I love the GTI and now selling it is on the table as I'll be too tempted to drive it.

So, there is a 1996 Ibiza GTI for sale if anyone is interested.

If I don't get a decent offer, I'm keeping it. Interior is MINT. Exterior has a few minor scratches, but it's not too bad. Original wheels are currently on it, but I'm including the rims I bought a few months back. Perfect exhaust note. Drives like a dream. It had uprated suspension installed prior to me purchasing this. This was Matt's (Golf Loon) courtesy car. It's always been ran on 98 octane.

No aircon but I've been managing with the window down enjoying the sound it makes . Plenty of rego left. This should get Roadworthy easy as it passed a few months ago, the details of that are within this thread.

I'll post pictures of its current state on the weekend.
