I`m right for slave cylinders Gav, but always have old crap for swopping

Its buggering around with the pedal box and I dont have the pedal end bit that clips on.

If i`m gonna take the box off to put a ligtened flywheel on, I may as well just swop the gearbox for an 020.

That said I pulled the MAF out this morning and the car went heaps better. Nice one William. I`m thinking I should probably replace it with another one, but the car goes heaps better without it

Can I put a 9a exhaust cam in as the intake and will it make it go better??

Yeah to the 9A exhaust cam.

Try the Powerchip chip, Mat. Response is better in mine now.

Wow Thanks Gavin. Lots of good resources there.

They seem to say that the exhaust cam will help the ABF up top, but not acelleration. The opposite to what i want!

Well any 'hotter' cam swap will raise top end at the expense of torque

If you want to change the powerband and nothing else, do the 9a/PL cam and fit a vernier pulley.

The engine management won't like it, though, especially the OBD2 If you really want a chip, I still standby the fact that Powerchip are rubbish (dyno proven), so get a chip from DBilas or similar. They're cheaper, and they work

P.S. Good deals on 228mm 8lb alloy F/Ws in the US at the moment and a good time to buy with the US dollar so strong. I'd imagine the friction surface wears a lot faster than a hardened steel equivalent, though.

Does anyone engineer a hi-lift cam for the ABF? If you're after more torque without sacrificing drivability, this might be the go. I have played with hi-lift cams before, and was impressed. You probably wouldn't need to extend the duration too much (i later re-engineered the cam when i upgraded the carbies, and turned the car into a nightmare to drive around town... Oh well it was quick when I got stuck into it )

I don't know a lot about EFI engines, so if I'm talking out of my a$$ tell me

                  Cheers!
