i wouldnt mind doing this but theres no way im touching it how much you reckon a mechanic would charge for the whole thing? should i get a new clutch whilst im at it? Its for a 1995 ibiza GTI BTW

I wouldn`t do it on a GTI Ibiza. Its a back to front clutch, so a machine shop will have to make up a jig to do it and its not necessarily a benefit.

The cupra flywheel is completely different and can benefit from shedding some weight.
