Hmmm. Might have to settle for the bi turbo Q5 diesel instead.

Of course all this assumes I find a rich aunt and she leaves me all her $$$$$$

Guy's Tiguan should be better on all measures when he's finished with the updates.
Could be a cheaper alternative.

I'd have to double check but I'm sure the RS Q3 was featured in the latest Audi customer magazine thingie, and they suggested it'd be released later this year at around the same time as the RS6 Avant.

I'm not convinced it should wear an RS badge though - 5.5sec doesn't really cut it as a top-tier performance model these days - especially when the bigger SQ5 is specced at 5.1sec.

and yes power drop means its within reach performance wise of a Stg2 Tiguan

However, 2.5turbo chips to 300kw/500NM so could be awesome (more awesome) once tuned

I'd be keen on the Q5 flagship but worried about the new diesel particle filter thingies and how expensive they are.
A little Q3 with stage 1 chip would be sweet
