Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

removed the rear wheels to fit the sway bar. gave them a good clean and took this photo as reference for when i'm trying to remember what offset they are...

            whiteline 24mm rear sway fitted...

a better view of the exhaust too...

also took this photo so i can confirm which haldex controller i need...

fitted the h&r spacers while i was at it. difficult to tell but they are wide spacers...

managed to fix my aux in socket while i was back. i started with the genuine media connector block and repair wires from audi...

hooked it all up and tested it, worked spot on...

cloth tape to the rescue once again for an oem install. i now have an aux input, yay...

Cheers mate, i think i'm set on some gtc rims, not sure when i'll pull the trigger as I need to replace my rotors and pads soon. I might not go to the next happy laps unless i get my brakes done in time! Sticky tyres will be nice for lakeside.

So many awesome wheels around second hand mate, you should be able to pick up something cool reasonable cheap!

and Id sya brakes rotors and pads are reasonable for those kms... When I sold my wrx it had under 60,000 and it had 4 new rotors, and pads, including handbrake pads.Saw alot of skidpan but lol

Whoops - my bad mate. I thought it was the OP who wrote that he needed new brakes. Speak to GSL Rallysport for brakes. Remsa pads are awesome and they can hook you up with DBA rotors.
